Glue and pattern fit
Apply glue with a brush to the surface to be wallpapered, and also a little further out on the window or door lining. The wallpaper will cover any gaps.
Pull up the wallpaper to the correct position. Pattern match against the previous strip if using patterned wallpaper. Want to know more about pattern matching? Read our guide: Pattern matching of wallpaper
Put up the wallpaper
Press the wallpaper lightly with the paperhanging tool against the side of the window or door frame. Then cut an incision towards the corner of the lining with the scissor, to reduce tension in the wallpaper.
Tip!Remember to change the blades of the paperhanging knife often to get sharp cuts. Our paperhanging knife comes with 10 blades so you can always have a sharp blade at hand.
Then press the wallpaper against the lower and upper window frames and smooth out any air bubbles. Cut the wallpaper against the frames with a paperhanging knife.
Do the same when wallpapering around door frames. Read more about wallpapering in our guide: Wallpapering – how to, step by step
