The most important thing is to make sure that no paint containing dangerous substances ends up in the drains when you wash your brush. So, for example, use a bucket of lukewarm water to clean your brush, and repeat the process once more with fresh water. How do I take care of my roller after painting in a sustainable way?
Once you’ve finished painting with your roller, use a roller scraper to scrape as much paint as possible off the roller, back into the paint can. Then let the roller dry.
